Each amlip tablet contains amlodipine besilate as active ingredient. Amlodipine is calcium antagonist. This medications are used in the treatment of high blood pressure as it work by relaxing blood vessels hence blood can passes through them more easily. Amlip tablet is also used in treatment of angina as it work by improving blood supply to the heart muscle which help in receiving more oxygen the result of which chest pain is prevented.
